ANDRIA GARCIA

Andria Garcia is the founder and owner of KomBlu Kombucha. She is an energetic mother of four even more energetic kids. She takes pride in the service she has given to our country as a veteran of Special Operations of the United States Air Force. Andria has applied the same level of commitment and devotion to our country as she has in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. To Andria, each day is an opportunity to enhance her life and the lives of those around her.

Andria has spent years perfecting her unique blends and techniques, generously sharing her kombucha with friends helping them improve their health while feeding their “booch” addiction. After receiving such high praise and recognizing the demand for her product, Andria realized it was time for the rest of the world to experience the KomBlu difference.

 

In her early twenties is when Andria proudly served in the military in the Special Operations of the United States Air Force. During this time her first born daughter of 4 children, Sequoia, was two-years-old. At this age Sequoia was diagnosed with chronic eczema and asthma. She was covered from head to toe with cracks of open skin sores and wounds. Sequoia's skin never seemed to heal without the use of steroids. This method of treating her appeared to help on the surface, but the relief was always short lived. This did not sit right with Andria, she wanted to cure her daughter. 

Time passed with a collection of research and information leading to a lot of dead ends. It was when Andria was deployed to Kuwait that her quest for more safe and natural options for her daughter began. Her time spent in Kuwait gave new ways of thinking, with opportunities during her days off for her ongoing research. Soon the fog on her research finally started to clear, she had started making connections on the importance of the digestive system, to the overall health of the body, to Sequoia's disease. This forever changed her daughter's and her own life as a spark of passion for health and wellness ignited and never extinguished.

Her major discovery during this era of disciplined research on the gut was a probiotic drink that we all love, kombucha. Upon receiving her first kombucha culture, she began playing with ideas and combining health techniques that she had learned over the years to create a kombucha that not only tasted exquisite, but most importantly excelled in its health benefits.

 

The heart behind starting KomBlu Kombucha goes beyond just having a cool blue bottle with tasty "booch." KomBlu represents a community of people that want something greater for themselves than what a surrender flag has to offer. So, stay strong. Sequoia strong. From our journey to yours...
